according to me yes because its the parents child . it theirs and theirs forever.so they should be allowed to choose it.this is my opinion but many people have different opinions

No, only in cases when one gender carry a genetic desease and by having the other gender it will end that in the bloodline. We have seen what gender selection has led to in other countries. In China for instance, boys are kidnapped from their families because the other family only have girls. Children are being sold. Nature has a way of evening things out and we should leave it that way.
