Many people are happy to leave school at the age of sixteen, they may want to leave and go onto college ect or join the rest of the job seeker bums who working class people pay for. Personally i think it depends on what type of person you are:

I am not getting good grades at school and don't no what to do:

Don't worry, theres always something out there for you. If you aren't getting good grades at school and want to leave then do something YOU are good at, use your strenghts. E.g. i hate school and i am not getting good grades but i am a very caring person and love taking care of people so i am leaving and doing my NVQ's in care whilst training to be a carer.

I'm getting good grades but i don't like school:

If school isn't the thing for you then fair enough, college are always taking people who have good grades on all types of courses. Once again look at what you want to do and what your good at and do a course in this. If your unsure connexions are always there for you.

I want to stop on in post 16, I'm not sure what to study and I'm not sure if the post 16 centre will let me go:

Talk to a member of staff at the post 16 centre and go through your options together, see what you want to do and what the require. All different centres have different entry requirements, TALK TO PEOPLE.
