No, if anything they should be the same and we should have a shorter school year. This is because if we had shorter days, then they would have to lengthen the year or go through lessons sooooo fast.
Inservice days for teachers should be on your school calendar and/or on the school's website. If they are not, your teacher should announce that certain days are inservice days and schools will not be open for students.
I think school days should be shorter well since I'm a teen and we are doing a speech on this and it says teens need 8hrs of sleep (which I don't always) it can effect how long they sleep.

This can not be answered. There are different school systems, some countries have no schools, testing/measurement are varied, grading is varied, school days are longer/shorter, and there are other factors.
Kid's should be in school at least 8 hours a day and 5 days a week. Anything less than that and it could ruin there experience.
