Homework should be limited to what the average student can reasonably do in one evening, without being overwhelmed or too frustrated. Too much work means that the student rushes through and doesn't really learn as much.
most people belive that they work hard all day and then they have hours after school to do more work. that gets them pissed off but u need 2.
Also homework can be stressfull and when we want 2 get home we wanna relax.
What makes me think the questioner is a school-child?
Much as I hated doing it when I was at school - and taking rather more than an hour a night - homework is necessary for two reasons:
1) It gives you the practice and additional study you need in each subject - and by the latter I do NOT mean asking Answers users to do it all for you or blindly copying from Wikipedia etc, for that's cheating!
2) It is good practice for later life. If you proceed to college or university, either from school or in later life, you will be expected to carry out a lot of private study, assignments etc. Even if you don't carry on intofurther education you will need to spend at least some of your own time on various chores enforced simply by daily life!
Dr. James Dobson said that homework should only be an hour so kids can play and spend time with family
HECK YEA!!!!!!!!! We work for 7 hours at school and then we go home and do another 3 hours of homework.... GIVE US BREAKS!!!
should homeworks be limited to a maximum of three nights a week
1-1.5hours per night
There is no specific law that dictates the amount of homework a teacher can assign. However, the general guideline is that students should have a reasonable amount of homework that is aligned with their grade level and age, and promotes learning rather than overwhelming them. Ultimately, the amount of homework should be manageable and reasonable for students to complete within a reasonable timeframe.
yess they should some schools only get sports time once a week others schools get it every other day
A fourteen year old should get nine hours of sleep each night.
Hi you should lie and maybe tell your parents your going to help each other with homework i tried it worked realy well
Well that is pretty much up to the school. I mean most do but I know there is one near where i live that doesn't give out homework. But if you really think about it, homework is there to help us improve, to make us the best version of ourselves. Without it, you would probably need to work a whole lot harder! the only problem i have with homework, is when teachers give you heaps! for me it sucks having heaps of things on after school and getting homework plus assignments from each teacher! i think something needs to be done about that. especially when you get heaps in the holidays. so in answer to your question, Do schools have to give out homework, they don't have to, but they know that it significantly benefits the students. It depends on the teacher. You'd have to ask each one individually - and even then, it might depend as well on the student and the assignment.
Be there for each other day and night.
Nearly everyday it is differnet compared to primary and they are more harder
8 to 10 hours
Homework can impact your social life by taking up time that you might otherwise spend with friends or engaging in social activities. It can create stress and limit your availability for socializing. However, balancing homework with social activities is important for overall well-being.
