They're both very different instruments! A knowledge of both instruments will help you learn the other, because they use many of the same prinicples. But id never think of learning one just to edge yourself into the other. Its also worth mentioning that theres a big leap in between what most people think as a good bassist, and a really good bassist (like flea from red hot chilli peppers). it does not matter because if you start on bass you can move on to guitar, but if you start on guitar you can switch to bass (like me) it does not really matter because they both use similar principles
It is generally recommended to start learning on an acoustic guitar because it helps build finger strength and technique. Once you have developed some skill, you can transition to an electric guitar if you prefer.

You should start getting lessons, because there is no use of getting one if you cannot play it. In my opinion, I guess an acoustic guitar is better. Electric guitars are too expensive.

As a guitarist I would think that beginners should start with an acoustic guitar. However this is all to taste. It may be easier with an electric if you are that type of person!

I'm guessing you mean electric or acoustic. A lot of people will tell you that you should start on an acoustic, but I disagree. I think that you should start to learn which one you would like to play, and would enjoy playing more. It would keep you interested more, and you will find it easier to improve. I have only ever played electric, and I think if I'd started by buying an acoustic, I would have given up not long after starting.

I don't believe so. He always started out on an electric guitar. His first guitar, however, was a banjo. He just restringed it to sound like a guitar.

To connect an electric guitar to a computer, you will need an audio interface with a guitar input, a USB cable, and recording software. Simply plug your guitar into the audio interface, connect the interface to your computer using the USB cable, and open the recording software to start playing and recording your guitar.
To learn how to wire an electric guitar properly, you can start by researching online tutorials or taking a class on guitar electronics. It's important to understand the components of the guitar's wiring system and how they work together. Practice with basic wiring diagrams and seek guidance from experienced guitar technicians if needed.
