yes they should and they should tell someone one about it and stop bullying
Yes, bystanders should intervene. Having someone just standing around will not help the situation.
The number of children who are bystanders in situations like bullying or peer conflict varies widely depending on the context and environment. Research suggests that a significant portion of children witness bullying but do not intervene; studies indicate that up to 70% of students may observe bullying incidents. However, the exact percentage can differ based on factors such as age, school climate, and individual circumstances. Promoting awareness and empowering bystanders to take action can help reduce bullying and support those in need.
the judge will intervene when matter of procedure are concerned and in criminal cases will occasionally question witnesses or call their witness
Many do. Some do not because they are not expected or allowed to intervene in improper actions. Generally an unarmed security officer had a primary duty to be a good witness.
Yes, police officers have a legal duty to intervene and stop a crime when they witness it happening. This duty is based on their role as law enforcement officers to uphold the law and protect the public.
People who witness bullying and do nothing about it are called 'enablers' and they are just as bad as the bully. In most schools there are only a handful of bullies in comparison to 200 - 300 or more students that are not and it is up to the students to start a program to protect those that are bullied and more and more students are starting programs in their school. Bullying causes physical illness; depression; a feeling of being detested and alone and in some cases suicidal thoughts that are often carried out.
An adverse witness is a witness who is called by the opposing party in a legal proceeding or trial. This witness is expected to provide testimony that is unfavorable or contradictory to the position of the party that called them.
Take action, write down all reports of incident, date, time and your witness. You are not alone.
bullying isn't really preventable. wherever you go you will witness bullying. bullies will bully whether you have or havent done something wrong. the only way is to keep yourself to yourself and don't get too close to people. cause they can let you down when you don't expect it.
you should not use a computer to harm other people (bullying)
I would try to figure out what, why and when the bullying started. I would also talk to each of them separately to try to figure out why they r bullying. I would try to figure out how to stop the building also. I don't like bullying so I try to help as many people as I can.
It depends on why the witness is not there, what kind of witness it is, what kind of case it is, and what sort of evidence the witness is expected to give. In a criminal trial, the case may be dismissed if there is no witness. Or the trial may be delayed while law enforcement finds and brings the witness to court (if they are ignoring a subpoena). If the witness is ill or travelling, the case may be continued to wait for the witness. If the witness is not key, the parties may proceed without him/her, or they may shift around the order or witnesses to allow that witness to appear later in the trial.
