Yes, from what I have heard and read. Moving hot food to a cold refrigerator can cause bacteria to form and grow rapidly. The food should be cooled to room temperature before refrigerating.
you should always cover meat.
I've never bothered, no harm done yet
Nothing major. The meat can keep cooking if it is hot enough, or it can warm the contents of the fridge. Not putting hot meat into a fridge is a holdover from true ice boxes, where the hot meat could melt the ice.
Always keep raw meat at the bottom of your fridge and covered. This ensures that should the meat leak, it doesn't leak over other foods.
scraping it of or putting it in the fridge scraping it of or putting it in the fridge
If you're putting slime in the fridge, it's slime exactly when you put it in the fridge. So, no time at all.
wait patiently......wrap open foods in plates and bowls with saran wrap.....wait until food is cooled down to room temp. before you put in fridge......and put in fridge away from other foods...
So long as you keep it in the fridge once it's cooled - yes.
You can put it immediately in the fridge or do what I do and let cool for maybe 20 minutes or so to prevent the excess condensation from developing in the fridge. Just do not leave it out for more than 2 hours or you run the risk of bacterial growth.
Your cake does not have to be fully cooled to store it. Make sure you wrap it well, and you can leave it on the counter or place it in the fridge.
an object can be cooled by air or by a fridge or freezer.
so it doesnt explode. if you drink too much, well....
i say either, better for safety from the fridge, make sure it is dry before battering.
If you feel behind a fridge, you will feel the warm air. This warmth is from the inside of the fridge as the inside is cooled, and from the pump.
