As a general rule, if you can avoid it, no. If you can't avoid it, you can try taking some over the counter medications to help keep your nasal passages and eustachian tubes clear. Also, you can stay ahead of problems by trying to keep your ears cleared as you start the descent...this is when most problems occur. The best advice though, is if you can avoid it, do.
