Should you get Pokemon heartgold or Pokemon Platinum?

I have both and although I prefer older graphics, I think Platinum has a better storyline and Cyrus, the perceived villain and leader of Team Galatic, has an understandable goal similar to N’s (the perceived villain of Black and White). He ultimately wants peace for the world, he doesn’t like the suffering of people and Pokemon, but has a very skewed vision of how to end all that. Even though it seems like he’s just there to be the roadblock in the game, if you stop to actually analyze his behavior and thought process, if anything he’s become desensitized to any empathy for a broken world, which gives me the impression that his past was less than pleasant. So it includes a very interesting character. You can also transfer all your old Pokémon to Platinum so aside from the graphics part, you get the best of both worlds. If I had to choose, I’d choose Platinum. But that’s just me.

It all depends on what kind of game you want. If you prefer the new Pokemon then get platinum. If you like the older Pokemon then get heartgold or soulsillver.
