∙ 11y agoI know Lasik has a faster recovery time and is less painful, but it creates a flap on the cornea. Lasek however takes longer to recover and is more painful but it does not create a flap on the cornea.
Lasek is recommended for sports people because if you take a blow to the eye the flap is less likely to open but with lasik it is more than likely.
I personally do not mind the recovery time and the pain so im slightly towards Lasek. I have has a consultation and I am suitable for both. So which one is better and why? regardless of the recovery time and pain. Does one have better results etc?
