The pH deccrease.
If this question is in regard to a swimming pool, you should never have the pH that high. Recommended level is 7.2-7.8.
Sodium carbonate is added to increase the pH of the solution.
The pH increase with the help of an antacid.
It will increase the pH
yes, and the pH can go up significantly depending on what type of chlorine used for shocking. Liquid chlorine (sodium hypochlorite) will cause the PH to increase at a higher rate than that of granular chlorine (such as calcium hypochlorite)
a swimming pool it should be neutral pH ie green
pH means power of hydrogen. So, an increase in no. of hydrogen will increase the pH.
Algae draws all available CO2 out of water, causing its pH to increase.
Increase pH

Yes you can, but you should not raise it over 7.
the increase in PH = 3 - 1 = 2
The pH level must rise
i just tested it today and it showed a shocking 3.0 on the ph scale. 40 times where rain should be. Acid rain starts at 5.0 and goes to 3.5. below that it can cause eye and skin irriation. We are below that stardard.
A base will increase the pH of a solution as it will lower the available H+ ions.
