Well if he is leaving for college then I would try it for a while and see what happens, and if it doesn't work then just tell him that it isn't working for you adn that you should try to move on without him for a while. If he is telling you to wait because he needs some space and he isn't sure about things then that is a clear sign that the relationship is definatly not working. And for any other possible reason he is telling you to wait, then you need to think about if that is really what you want. Do you want to spend all your time hopelessly waiting for one boy. Or do you think it would be just easier to move on?
