You should have a pest exterminator remove them, particularly if it is a large nest. Wasps are irritable and could easily attack if you do this on your own.
Yes, if it is in a place where the wasps could do harm to you or others; probably a place that you pass by often. I recommend hiring an exterminator, not removing the nest yourself.
Birds will nest on your roof. As long as they're not woodpeckers, why get rid of them? Still, for those who want the answer, birds will probably nest on your roof for around a month IF they are actually planning on staying. If you have a problem with them and a nearby bird feeder, it is suggested you temporarily remove it for a few days. With no trustworthy amount of food, the birds will leave.
Yes.
On window and roof ledges.
Destroy a Beehive on RoofMost people see a wasp nest and call it a "Bee hive". If you really do have bees, they will make a nest inside some enclosed area. If that's the case, call a beekeeper or exterminator to remove them. The beekeeper may do it for free. If you have a wasp nest then call an exterminator. If you are feeling brave then use some insecticide spray on them in the evening and be ready to possibly get stung in the process. If they aren't bothering anything it might be best to leave them alone.
No not unless it is leaking. No leaks leave it alone. Replacing a roof is expensive. I replaced mine a few months ago and the cost came to 12,000.
I guess 4 bout 5or7 hours:p
Well right now there is a robin nest on my roof. They like to build nest in trees, house, buildings, forests. There are probably a lot of other places too :)
6 to 12,000 dollars depending on the work involved. Materials for a complete roof replacement run about 6,000 alone.
Some of the pygmy possum species nest in piles of leaves, among other things. Larger possums nest in tree hollows, or even house roof cavities.
Bats, squirrels, mice, and sparrows all nest in roof structures.

I would leave them off when there is no snow/ice but that`s just me.
