The advantage of using refill ink is price. There are many low-price refill kits on the market which are relatively simple to use. Filling can be messy with a lower quality printing result. Remanufactured cartridges are available at lower cost than originals. Both options have the risk of affecting printer operation. For top quality printing, it is probably best to buy the recommended cartridges for your printer.
