I've done business with these people for years. True, I've never won a thing, but I like the lay-a-way plan and have had great success with the quality of products. I've still got two sets of luggage purchased over 15 years ago that are both in excellent condition, and also had great success with an IBM Think Pad Lap Top!
My "google research" (see links, below) is not exactly exhaustive or objective. But I have located some helpful internet posts that may help you decide for yourself if it's worth your time and money trusting a company that has so many unsatisfied customers. http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/took-my-money-and-didn039t-send-the-product-c77476.html http://www.ripoffreport.com/searchresults.asp?q5=SWEEPSTAKES+CLEARING&searchtype=0&q1=ALL&q3=&q2=&q7=&q4=&q6=&start=0 http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/103/RipOff0103036.htm http://blog.homesfornh.com/2006/06/sweepstakes-clearinghouse-sends-latest-deceptive-mailing/ http://www.scam.com/showthread.php?t=10183 http://m.naplesnews.com/news/2007/Sep/04/scam_parades_sweepstakes_clearinghouse_originating/
There is a place that sends out scams under this name. Do not send them money to claim your "prize report". You won't win a prize by sending them money.
DONT DO IT!! Its a scam, I sent them the 299.95 for the dell computer & I also sent 179.95 for an RCA stereo. Fed Ex came with the packages but they wanted me to pay an extra HUGE COD charge, which I refused, shipping should have been included in the money I already sent. After Fed Ex left, I decided to Google sweepstakes Clearinghouse & discovered that they are nothing but scams, sending junk merchandise & not refunding people their money. I have been in corrospondense with them about getting my money back but am already getting the runaround. I just want to warn others.

Also, you have to enter a sweepstakes in order to win, Legitimate sweepstakes companies do not contact anyone unless they receive an entry from the person. If you are contacted without entering the sweepstakes, it is not a legitimate sweepstakes. Even if you entered a sweepstakes, remember that legitimate sweepstakes NEVER require upfront money in order for the person to collect their winnings. American Sweepstakes Network does not actually pay out funds. ASN is a known scammer. They ask people to send money by wire transfer, but the people never get anything. If a person has to pay money up front, it is usually a scam.
