Of course you could if you really think you have to. But, before you do just keep in mind the huge amount of poison you will be introducing to the environment. Just because it is sold at the garden center does not mean that it is safe. In fact, it is not save. It is a deadly poison that can wreak havoc on the human (and animal) nervous system. The long term effects from exposure to that type of herbicide is not completely understood. Or, if the effects from exposure are known it is not being shared with the public. I found a great way to rid my yard of weeds. I hired a couple of neighborhood kids to help me pull weeds, and in 3 hours the weeds were gone. Roundup would cost you much more to use, and in more ways than one.
