This depends entirely on the medication in question. One one hand, some medicines may be more dilute in a large individual, as the drug would be dissolved in a larger volume. On the other hand, certain internal organs may only be able to process, clear, or tolerate a certain amount of drug regardless of size. For example, the maximum daily dose of Tylenol for a healthy individual is generally accepted at 4000 mg regardless of height or weight. Conversely, anesthesia may be administered at higher doses than for a smaller patient. Do not exceed the recommended dose of any drug without first checking with your physician or pharmacist.
