No, they wont harm the babies.
I would not recommend it. Just have the Mother Guinea Pig in with her babies separately. Sometimes the other guinea pigs can get excited and accidentally stomp the babies to death so best to keep Mom & babies separate.
Yes
You should wait 24 hours after birth before cleaning the cage.
If i were you i would get a big cage so the guinea pig can run around Good luck with your piggie I have a big cage that holds 2 guinea pigs and they chase each other around the whole cage!!!
You should clean the cage 24 hours the last baby.
No its not, i guinea pigs cage is way bigger. & you should not have the same size of guinea pig cage as your hampster.
Not until the babies are weaned. This is safer because the mother will protect them and may fight other pigs. Never put a male in with a female with babies.
For two guinea pigs you need at least 7.5 feet of cage.
When my female had her babies, a couple hours later i cleaned up the bloody bedding and that was it. I had cleaned out the cage when I anticipated she was in labor and a couple hours later she had the babies. Congrats on the new addition to your family.
six
it depends if you want more babies then after the babies are cleaned off put the boy back in otherwise your boy has to go in a different cage
You might see the guinea pig look around the cage and call for it. Whenever I take my guinea pigs apart the one that's still in the cage looks all around the cage and if he doesn't see the other guinea pig he starts squeaking.
