How can you accelerate a long clock pendulum?

You screw the adjuster up making the weight higher on the pendulum this will make your clock faster----but only a couple of turns at a time then if it goes to fast screw it down a little you will have to see if your clock gains time over a 24hr period and make adjustments as needed.

How Does the angle affect the simple pendulum?

By dampening. This can be done by changing the length of the pendulum The period is 2*pi*square root of (L/g), where L is the length of the pendulum and g the acceleration due to gravity. A pendulum clock can be made faster by turning the adjustment screw on the bottom of the bob inward, making the pendulum slightly shorter.

How do you replace the battery in a miniature grandfather clock?

The grandfather clock should have a battery compartment located on the back of the clock or the bottom. It should look like square or rectangle. It may have a tiny screw in it. You need to open this compartment. The old batteries can be taken out and the new one put in their place. Be sure to align the positive and negative ends of the batteries according to the diagram.

How do you replace a bulb in the clock of a Peugeot 406?

Been looking for info on this. Got bored waiting and got stuck in (1997 model). Get two screw drivers, stick one in between the clock and the dash at the top and another at the bottom. Lever the clock unit out gently. Unplug the clock unit connector at the back of the clock. On the side of the clock unit is a screw, which is the back of the bulb. Give it a quarter turn to release it (don't give it more than that, as the plastic will have become quite brittle over time and will crumble if you give it more). The bulb can then be pulled out (pliers or gentle screw driver work to lever it out). Insert new bulb and refit the clock. Hope that helps.
