; well I'm agreeing with the other commentor on here. It is good to twist it around; just like the other person on hre said, you do need to clean it very well and your hands need to be very clean. It's just because of the bacteria, belive it or not when you twist it, it does move it in or out of your ear holes so that bacteria will get in your hole which as you should know, is very bad. Congradulations though; hope you enjoy it.
Im not sure if you should or not, but it should help. It prevents the piercing healing around the jewllery. Also it makes the healing area used to movement and more resistant to it.
yes. But you should stick to studs made for lip piercings. If the piercing is still healing you should go to a tattoo or piercing parlor to have it changed for you so that it does not affect the healing process.
The initial healing takes about 2-6 weeks which varies from person to person. After that a shorter piercing should replace the usually long healing jewellery.
A new body piercing should be cleaned regularly. It should be kept dry, and you should avoid playing with it too much. You can buy piercing cleaner in stores, or you can use first aid alcohol. To clean a naval piercing, you should use one of the options above. A good brand is H2Ocean piercing cleanser. If the naval is infected, there are many steps to take. Soak with warm water on a cloth until it is not hot anymore. Use hydrogen peroxide to drain the infections, but you should not use it often becuase it will freeze the cells and complicate the healing process.
when i first got my industrial piercing it was gauged at a 16 i would recomend this simply because the piercing needle is smaller and it is a smaller wound to heal than that of a higher gauge
You should be able to. Just make sure you put a piercing in straight away to avoid the area healing over.
Well it should be healded in about 2 months:)
A belly-button piercing is usually still healing after 3 weeks, although the swelling and redness should have gone down and should be almost completely gone! If the area still looks irritated/puffy, or red then it's still healing. I hope this helped!(:
The following day; be careful not to "over clean" it, though. That will irritate the piercing just as much as not cleaning it.
Industrials are done at 14g not 16g. The piercing should be done with a 12g needle and 14g jewellery.
The major risks of an industrial piercing include ear deformation, migration and even rejection. If it is not properly taken care of it can move, and be very painful. Someone very experienced should preform this piercing, as if it is not done properly, the risk grows higher.
No a nostril piercing should only be uncomfortable for the first day or two, but eight weeks later means you are having some healing issues. Most likely the healing agents you are using on your piercing are causing the problem, stop using everything on your piercing and just flush the piercing while moving the jewellery under running water. The discomfort should ease in 24 to 48 hours.
