He should buy you something if you've done something good, like get straight A's on a report card, or A+ your mid term or something, or if it's a holiday like Christmas or Easter. But if it's for no apparent reason, then no. He shouldn't waste his money.

For Fathers Day, you should get a card for your dad, and buy him a gift that you know he would want, but never would buy for himself. Also be extra nice to him, wash his car, and help him mow the lawn...that is if he has a car and a lawn to mow. Just love him I am sure that he will be happy with that.
