Christmas is the day when Jesus Christ, the son of God, was born to Mother Mary, in a humble manger in the small town of Bethlehem, more than two thousand years ago. A shining star appeared in the sky over Bethlehem and guided Three Wise Men to the small manger where the Christ Child lay. The three Astrologers brought the gifts of gold Frankincense and Myrrh for the Baby Jesus, because they recognized this child was going to be the savior or Messiah of his chosen people. This gave birth to the tradition of giving Gifts on Christmas.

Christmas is one of the most important days of the Christian calendar. His Holiness the Pope, who is the spiritual leader of catholics, prays for the good of humanity and reminds everyone of Christ's message of love and brotherhood, which is symbolized by the Christmas.
