I found a ring at the park that also said EDCO inside of it. I could tell it was fashion jewelery, but very nicely made. I searched on-line and found a website EDCO.net and its a company that sells fashion jewelry. They have an on-line catalogue (which is very hard to really see the item) and I found the same ring in their catalogue. So, I'm pretty confident that's what it is.
It's bimetallic. The center is brass (gold colored) and the outer ring is nickel (silver colored).
I believe only the center silver colored part is silver and i was told that it is a half ounce of .999 fine silver
I prefer a sterling silver band with smaller diamonds all the way around with a larger diamond in the center.
If there is a brass colored screw and a silver colored screw, the BLACK wire will connect to the brass screw. If you can't see a difference, connect the black wire to whichever screw connects to the CENTER contact of the light fixture.
