There are 2 cheats i know and always use. One cheat is you have to be in the neighborhood. Then you hold Ctrl,shift,C and type in 'boolprop testingcheatsenabled true' but without the quotation marks. Then you click on a household and you are able to shift click on sims and drag up their needs. Another cheat is you need to be at a household and you hold down Ctrl,shift,C and type in 'moveobjects on.' again without the quotation mark's are able to pick up Sims' pets, Sims, etc.
