The engine backfiring at idle, and at slightly off idle speeds is indicative of a lean fuel/air mixture. Try enriching your fuel mixture.

A stock 1980 ET 250 has 23 horsepower.
The engine that comes standard with every Enticer 340 is a two-stroke, fan-cooled twin engine designed for this snowmobile. It reaches a maximum horsepower of 32 at 6,500 rpm, and a maximum torque of 25 foot-pounds at 6,000 rpm. With an engine size of 440-cubic centimeters, the Enticer can reach a maximum speed of 55 mph on the snow.
If you are talking about the 1980 Yamaha Enticer, the top speed would be 55mph.
Answer this question…there isn't a specific mix but you don't want to much because it can cause the spark plugs to foul out. if you do put any in put a little bit .also always run your snowmobiles on premium fuel
About 70Km/h stock
first you need the tenth number of the v.i.n. that tells you the year
The noun forms of the verb to entice are enticer, enticement, and the gerund, enticing.
I have an 1980 Yamaha Enticer 250 (ET250D). Here's what the sticker under the hoods says...The oil capacity for the "Chain Case" is 15.21 oz (or 450 cc).If you are talking about the engine crankcase, there is no oil in the crankcase of a two-stroke engine. It is lubricated by the oil that is mixed into the gas.I am not sure what weight oil to use. The dealer told me to use Yamaha Chain Case Oil (but he didn't know the weight of the oil).Hope this helps!TK
Yes it does, the size is 256*38 i think
