It depends on what type of animals you are talking about. Hamsters (girl and boy) mate and have babies, BUT after the babies have been born, the father must be separated from the children and mother because soon the father will start to eat the babies and we do not want that. The baby hamster would not have a long life and the hamster is bad for the fathers intestint.
