There will always be teenage pregnancy because, at times, sex drive makes young people act before they think. (Evil people like to refer to these girls as sluts.) However 90% of the young girls and older girls that get pregnant today got that way because of the sheer stupidity and ignorance that is deliberately spread about sexuality by parents and a society that has been inundated by religious and cultural manipulation. Sexuality is shown as something that should not be known about if you are under a certain age so it is lied about. once you lie about something you have to admit the truth eventually. that is where things get embarrassing for parents so they put it of and keep lying or just let their girls stumble about until they make a mistake. The solution to most teenage pregnancys is to explain what makes a girl pregnant. Admit that when there is a drive to have sex it is a natural part of life. Explain to her how to stop herself from getting pregnant. Help her in acquiring the type of contraceptives she will require to stop her from getting pregnant. And if that amounts to some wowser feeling that this will lead to an increase in promiscuity then so be it. I would rather see a girl enjoy sex with out a feeling of guilt and dirtiness, and with an understanding of what she is doing then have her come home with an STD or pregnant. Procreation is real life it is not a religious event.
