She started out with a smaller role in Drake and Josh as the hilarious and witty younger sister and now shines on iCarly, where she plays Carly, the protagonist. I can never see this show being cancelled. It's hilarious with appeal to all ages and the characters are very relatable for tweens (I hate that word!!) :0 So, go Miranda! i forgot to mention, she is an amazing singer as well.
