Son had scoliosis surgery but during surgery they could not leave rods in because he showed signs of paralysis So now must wear a brace for 1 yr Will this work for his fusion?

it all depends im 12 i had the same surgery almost 6 months ago but i have the rods in my back they tried the brace with me cause it works with some people but it didnt help me and i hated wearing it cause i had to wear it 20 hours a day! my curve got worse so i had surgery so the brace may work for him or it may not it all depends on how large his curve is

Why do you need math in orthopedic surgery?
Well I might not be correct, but I do have scoliosis and I believe it is for the measurement of the spine, of course math would be necessary to measure that during the surgery.

Basically a way of stretching the spine during fusion surgery to lengthen the spine for optimal correction. 2 screws in each knee one on either side of the patella, a metal ring around the head resting on the eyebrow, held in place by screws in the scull. doesn't hurt as it is done during surgery.

yes, but as i see your only awake in your nightmare...that also causes sleep paralysis ..
