Yeah... there are lots of chaos' in sonic adventure DX. to get the golden egg go to the rock egg. (next to the door that you enter first as knuckles.) then carry it to the antique store and replace it with the egg. then carry it to a chao garden. To get the black egg. go to the prison in the egg carrior as E-102" and push the switch next to the second jail cell and take it to a chao garden. and the silver chao egg. go to the waterfall next to the mist in mystic ruins then go right and push the thing in and it will fall in the water.

You need to have a regular chao to get a sonic chao on Sonic Adventure DX. Before your regular chao evolves to a neutral chao, you need to give it a lot of speed. As it evolves to green, give it more speed so it turns blue.
You Can In Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. I Think you can in DX.
get a blue chao and make it a neutral run type
buy a golden chao then make it run type.

Pick up the animal in the chao garden, then walk up to your chao. :l
Sonic Advance 1, 2 and 3 (Gameboy Advance) have chao gardens which are small and not very great, but Sonic Adventure (Dreamcast), Sonic Adventure DX (GameCube), Sonic Adventure 2 (Dreamcast), Sonic Adventure 2 Battle (GameCube) all have chao gardens where you can do the most things and raise your chao the best and most effective. Sonic Adventure 2 Battle is the most convinient and shows you all you need to know about a chao, and it's a really good game to raise them in by using animals (and Chaos Drives) as a means of training them. Sonic Advance 1 and 2 can connect up to Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and Sonic Adventure DX via a Gameboy to GameCube link cable and you can exchange chao with.

In one garden the maximum number of chao you can have is 8 since their is 3 gardens in the game you can have a total of 24 chao.
