The Battle of Stalingrad was a disaster for the German Armies
together because Germany beet them up and told them to help them
When Germany surrendered in 1945 the occupying armies Britain, France, the United States and Soviet Union divided Germany into sectors of control. The zone under soviet contorl became East Germany and the other sectors became West Germany.
Germany declared on the US on Dec 11, 1941. In compliance with Germany's Tripartite Pact with Japan, and hoping that Japan would help out Germany in return (by attacking the Soviet Union (Russia)...thus creating a 2nd front against the Soviets). A second front would relieve pressure on the German Armies fighting in Europe.
The greatest impact it had was it removed Russia from the fighting. Germany had been fighting Russia in the east while fighting France and the UK in the west. By eliminating Russia, Germany could concentrate her armies against France and the UK.
China and Russia
After signing the Soviet-German Non-Aggression Pact in August 1939, Hitler sent his armies into Poland on September 1, 1939. This invasion marked the beginning of World War II in Europe, as it prompted Britain and France to declare war on Germany shortly thereafter. The pact allowed Hitler to invade Poland without fearing a Soviet intervention, as it included a secret protocol dividing Eastern Europe between Germany and the Soviet Union.
They were part of the Soviet Union and did send their armies to fight along side all other soviet countries and also supplied the soviet armies with resources.
the four armies were fighting in the first crusades
The armies that the Crusaders were fighting were mostly compromised of either Muslims or Christians. They were claiming to be fighting for religion.
The American and British Armies met up with the advancing Soviet Army and Germany was fully occupied. Hitler killed himself. At the close of the war, Germany still occupied Denmark and Norway but all of Germany was in Allied hands and the Nazi regime was destroyed.
Germany had armies fighting in Russia when the treaty was signed. By ending the war there, Germany was able to move most of those armies to France to bolster those already fighting there. It also removed Russia from the war, allowing them to fight their Civil War with less interference from the Central Powers. It would've granted large amounts of territory to the Central Powers, but the later treaty of Versailles forced them to repudiate the treaty.
