Fidel Castro was the revolutionary leader who seized control of the Cuban government. Castro was in office from 1961 to 2011.
Lenin was not the first leader of Russia. He was the first leader of the Soviet Union when it was organized under the Treaty of the Soviet Union in late 1923 early 1924. Lenin was physically incapacitated by his strokes by then so he was not a true leader of government; however he is counted as the first leader of the new Soviet Union.
Mikhail Gorbochev supposably ended it by letting the Government hate groups coming into society

Joseph Stalin
The Soviet leader when Eastern Europe was freed from Soviet control was Mikhail Gorbachev. His policies of Glasnost (openness) and Perestroika (restructuring) in the late 1980s contributed to the decline of Soviet influence in the region. The fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 and the subsequent collapse of communist regimes across Eastern Europe occurred during his tenure, leading to significant political changes and the eventual dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991.
Since the question isn't open ended, the answer will be simple. The country was Yugoslavia. It was free of Soviet control after WWII. It's government was under Tito.
