Spain was no more or less justified in their foreign conquests than the numerous other peoples who have conquered and expanded their empires. During the period of primary Spanish conquest (1500s-1600s), there were numerous other empires around world that were expanding, like the Ottoman Empire, Safavid Empire, Mughal Empire, the Portuguese Empire, the Songhai Empire, and the Japanese Shogunate.
Napoleon was justified in fighting for independence from Spain primarily due to the widespread desire for liberation from oppressive colonial rule and the promotion of national sovereignty. His military campaigns aimed to spread revolutionary ideals of freedom and equality, challenging the autocratic governance of the Spanish monarchy. Additionally, the political instability in Spain, exacerbated by the Peninsular War, created an opportunity for Napoleon to assert control and support the emergence of a more progressive regime aligned with his vision for Europe.
Left justified
Because Venezuelans declared its independence from Spain in 1811 already. The Spanish "Right to Control Venezuela" was predicated on Spain being able to protect its Empire from foreign powers. The Venezuelans claimed a right to self rule since Spain had been conquered by France. If Spain could not protect itself, what right did it have to control Venezuela?
No it is not justified at all, in any age or time.
No. Discrimination is NEVER justified.
Was Mr. Brown's vigilante acts justified? Why or why not? Was Mr. Brown's vigilante acts justified? Why or why not?
Slavery can never be justified.
was aglipay justified in joining aguinaldo?
Many like the full justified setting, but the left justified is easier to read and the appearance is not so severe.
Everything can be justified in someone's mind, no matter how barbaric. Those guilty of murder often think that they were justified in what they did. So the question is not does any one person think that the Holocaust can be justified, it is does society think it can be justified... the mass of people thinking as a unit. And the answer to that is always a resounding No.
