That would be incorrect, in my opinion because:
Because even when the planet was previously known as Vulcania, the inhabitants were called Vulcanians, not Vulcans.
However, this could be correct because:
Some planets are given names before humans/explorers even check to see if the planet has inhabitants that have already given it a name. Therefore Spock could be from a planet with various names that are not pronounced Vulcan and yet his species could still be Vulcan.
The planet Vulcan is Spock's home world .Mr. Spock comes from the planet Vulcan .Vulcan.Vulcan, of course
Spock was born on the planet Vulcan. At the time of his birth, however, the planet was known as Vulcania and its inhabitants were called Vulcanians. Spock is a Vulcan from the planet of Vulcan. ;)
Mr. Spock is from the planet, Vulcan. Vulcan was originally called Vulcania and vulcans, like Mr. Spock, were called Vulcanians.
Spock originates from the planet Vulcan.
Mr. Spock is from the planet Vulcan
Spock, the character in Star Trek, is from a planet called Vulcan, not Venus.
Vulcan. (Its a fictional planet and character).
Spock is from the planet Vulcan.
Vulcan.
Spock is half human half vulcan.
Mr. Spock comes from Vulcan (as a vulcan this is obvious.) However, Vulcan used to be known as Vulcania in the extremely old episodes of ST-TOS, and therefore that would make Spock a Vulcanian, too.
Spock's father is Vulcan; his mother, human.
