I actually had to do that a few times today because I had no wasp spray in the house. I waited until they got low enough and started spraying it with bleach which made it go to a window which I sprayed it a few more times after it landed. It could not fly and seemed like it was dieng so I just smashed it in the end.
I wouldn't recommend using bleach on your skin for anything ever...Try vinegar.
