time for brakes, hurry that metal on metal makes my ears hurt.
I asked a mechanic and he said yes as long as both have the same speeds and same cilinders. Hope this helps
if it is a belt squeal, check and replace the serpentine belt and or the tensioner.
A worn alternator belt, loose alternator belt or bad alternator belt tensioner.
They "reset" while driving at highway speeds. They "reset" while driving at highway speeds.
He speeds up , drives faster
I had this problem on an older (1987) Nissan pickup and it had two injectors one of which had gone bad- replaced it and it fixed the problem. If I remember correctly it was designed to use one injector up to a certain speed and then the other was made to kick in for higher speeds. This may be your problem if you have a 4 cyclinder- if you have a V-6, I don't know.
With the engine running place the transmission in the neutral ( N ) position. Gently press the accelerator ( gas ) pedal to increase RPM. If the squeal is heard it is most likely a belt or pulley on the engine. If it only occurs while driving then it is most likely a wheel bearing.
That will depend on how fast you are driving. About 1 hr 45 minutes at highway speeds.
should be a 4 speed automatic
its always best to use your overdrive when on highways at higher speeds
Large vehicles create significant air turbulence and noise disturbances when driving at high speeds, which can affect other vehicles on the road and nearby structures.
I found the answer out by myself and it is compatible with both the 4 cyl and 6 cyl. Both are 4x4 and 5 speeds.
