To answer this question simply, the type of degree you have, where you live, the experience you have, all are factors to how much you will be paid in the beginning, however, on the average, for a person with an associates degree in accounting, the pay is usually between $20 - 40K a year.

What steps are needed to take to become a RN?

There are actually two different options. You can attend a 2 year college and receive an Associate Degree in Nursing Or you can attend a 4 year college and receive a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The difference in the end can be the pay. Also the RN's with BSN are more likely to have a managerial or leadership position in a Health Care Setting.

How much does Kohls pay overnight freight associates?

Does it matter if you get an AA degree in nursing vs a BSN?

The pay and opportunity will be greater with a bachelors degree in nursing, since you would be an RN rather than a LPN. ^^ YOU ARE NOT AN LPN IF YOU GET YOUR ASSOCIATES RN DEGREE!! you are still an RN, the only difference being that an associated RN went to school for two years and a BSRN went to school for 4. All the nursing classes are the same, you still learn the same material and you still take the exact same exam (NCLEX). You just don't take all the general education requirements that are required at a 4 year college.

Once you have a radiology technician associate's degree.how do you further your education in radiology?

First off let me state that we are by no means "TECHNICIANS"!! Let us get our terminology straight. If you are getting an Associates Degree & Pass your registry. You would then be known as a Radiology "Technologist"! You can now apply at some accredited University and go for a Bachelor's Degree in Radiology and if you really want to further your education, you can pursue a Master's Degree. Just keep in mind that times are hard and more than likely you will get PAID as if you received an Associates Degree. Why pay someone with a Bachelor's or Master's Degree more, when you can pay less with an Associates Degree. Hope this helps!

Do nurses need to have bachelor's degree?

Most schools offer an associates and bachelors degree in nursing. Actually this is is only true for the United States of America. In some countries you need a university degree to enter the nursing profession as a registered nurse. This is the case for example in Canada and I believe this is the case in the the UK. The US is unique in offering nursing programs that allow entry to practice with a variety of educational preparation. In the US you can enter the nursing profession as a Registered Nurse with an Associates degree or a university degree. Both prepare you for the role of a registered nurse and the entrance exam and rate of pay and job classifications are the same. In Canada a university degree is now required to become a registered nurse, however, since there are still many nurses in the system without a university degree. There is a pay differential offered in most collective agreements for those prepared with a university degree. The US, Canada, and Australia have another classification of nursing license which is a licensed practical nurse. This is a narrower scope of practice, less span of control and less responsibility. The education requirement is less than for an RN and in most circumstances the LPN works under direction or supervision of an RN. Even in jurisdictions where the LPN works independently and not under direction there is still the requirement to transfer the patient to the care of the RN when the care needs become complex. Not all countries have these two classifications of nursing.

Income with only practical nurse degree?
