A car travels at 30m/s and the driver sees a stoplight turn green 35ms ahead. If the driver immeditly steps on the break, what is the minimum acceleration needed from the brakes to stop in time. All information needed is given except final velocity which can be assumed to be zero. This is a problem I made up, if one is needed out of a textbook, look for any problem where an object is either slowing down, or moving towards the point of reference.
The pendulum of a clock is usually constructed with some sort of clamp or sliding catchthat permits sliding the weight up and down the stick, raising or lowering its center of massand thus changing its effective length.-- If the clock is running too fast, and has to be turned back a few minutes every now and then, make the pendulum slightly longer, by sliding the weight down a bit on the stick. This makesthe pendulum swing slightly slower.-- If the clock is running too slow, and has to be turned a few minutes ahead to catch up everynow and then, make the pendulum slightly shorter, by sliding the weight up a bit on the stick. This makes the pendulum swing slightly faster.
I think you are running ahead of things! If you mean ITER, which is the next stage in this quest, and has just started building, this will only be an experiment and won't have any capability to generate electricity. I doubt if that will happen for another 50 years or so, if ever indeed.
Forward. When you throw an object, you'll be traveling at a high acceleration and velocity fast enough that when you throw the object you'll catch very quickly, mostly because you would throw it slower than the acceleration of the car.-----------If you are accelerating, the above is true--you would need to throw ahead of you at an angle for it to return to your hand. However, if the car is traveling quickly but at a constant speed, you would simply throw it straight upward, like you normally would. This is because both you and the object are already traveling at the same speed in the same direction.

The opposite of being ahead of time would be running behind or late. The opposite of taking an action ahead of time is taking the action "after the fact" or later.
The term comes from a Greek word that means "running ahead of."
lane ends ahead Emergency vehicles only
Nissan... if you want to be a liability on the roads due to your lack of acceleration then sure, go ahead and get one.
because he was parralel parked on the side of the street with cars parked in front of him and people walking on the sidewalk next to him
1 block! this is the right answer 4 driver test.
A vertical rectangle street sign is general information. Such as speed limit 30 miles an hour. Reduce speed ahead.
To jump past someone to get ahead. Usually, the situation is that you are associated to the other person in some way. Then, he jumps ahead. It's to gain something by using an associate to your advantage. I suppose it could be the competition as well.
