The bulb plug can be pulled off carefully. Give it a wiggle, it may be tight.
It is covered in a rubber boot.
Once the wiring is unplugged, remove the large circular rubber boot around the lamp housing.
With the boot off, you can see the back of the bulb, held in place with a wire clip.
The wire is arranged with a slight raised handle, push this forward and unhook it off a latch.
The bulb should now fall out.
The new bulb will only fit one way round.
Do not touch the new glass bulb with your fingers. The oils in your fingers will cause a hot spot and premature failure. If accidentally touched, wipe with a tissue soaked in alcohol.
Observe the cut out notch in the lamp base and orientate it correctly, before latching the wire clip to hold it in place.
Replace the rubber boot and plug the wiring back onto the bulb.
Access to the right hand side is restricted by the air cleaner box. You may have to remove this to get to the back of the headlamp.
