I am on prednisone for alergies and have been for over two months. I am experiencing alot of different symptoms or side effects. One side effect or symptom-I have swelling of my arm pits on both sides at the edge of my chest muscles. Is this a common side effect or somthing else.
It could very well be boils, or cysts... you need to go to a dermatologist or some kind of doctor to get the help you need! Have you tried to burst the lumps? Sometimes applying a bit of pressure to the "lumps" by squeezing on them will make them bust open, effectively making them go away.
You have lymph nodes in your arm pit like the ones that you have on each side of your throat. If your lymph nodes are swollen, this can mean that you have an infection in your body. It could be that you just have like strep throat, or it could be something really bad. Seek medical help right away.
IT IS VIRAL INFECTION.GET TO A PHYSICIAN AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.

Swollen lumps in the armpits can be an indication of lymphatic disorders and there are a great many causes. Go see a doctor.
Go see a doctor.
I have looked around to see what I could find on what you describe and have landed a site that may be of interest to this particular problem as well a guidance to related sites. Go to (Lumps under the skin fibromyalgia) in the related links below for more information on this subject.
You definitely could have painful swollen veins in your arm after having your blood drawn many times. This happens frequently.
arm
No it doesn't, done it many times. Now, if you staple your penis, that is really painful. BUT! Your arm is fine.
Paracetamol or Ibuprofen depending on how bad your pain is.
yes, yes you can, it is very painful, it happened to my arm, eyebrow and toe
Hopefully accidentally. A fracture can be extremely painful and lead to complications.
If it is painful, my best guess would be a dislocated shoulder. That allows you to keep movement of your elbow down, but not your shoulder.
There could be a number of things that would cause this, but the fact that it is not painful and is fixed is some cause for alarm, since cancerous lumps are not usually painful and are fixed (they don't move around). But there are many benign things that could cause this, as well, such as a clogged lymph node, an infection in a lymph gland, a calcification, etc., so there is no cause for panic. I do recommend though, that you have a doctor look at it soon.
