Many TV sets have a "degaussing" button either on the TV itself or on the remote control. Find it and try it. If not, try the magnet wand, which is probably a "degaussing" wand anyway. Good luck.

The first step is to remove the left side screen panel. Inside about half way through the machine you should see a yellow button. Turn the ignition key on, now press that yellow button until the service light blinks twice. Replace the screen panel.
