yes
industrialisation has resulted in increased air pollution. the threat is that this will cause the marble of the taj mahal to ture yellow and to erode
increasing air pollution
1 reason is that due to pollution the air become full of dirt and after that when rain come it come with the dirt air in the form of acid rain due to acid rain the the taj mahal islosing its shine thank you by :yashika of doon public school , 8A
because of pollution, from cars and factories near by. the government of india has shutdown all the factories near by and no car can go inside the borders of the taj mahal...
because of the acid rain the beautiful white dome will get yellow colour.
acid rain is a type of air pollution .it is spoiling many monuments especially taj mahal because it is made up of white marble.this is all happening because of us.we are producing lots of wasteSTOP DEVELOPING WASTE ,START CONSERVING WASTE
Because Taj Mahal is made up of Marble and Marble is made up of Calcium Carbonate. When Calcium Carbonate reacts with Acid it corrodes. Means the Marble corrodes and turns pale due to losing its white lustre.
Acid rain is responsible for the Taj Mahal yellowing. The Agra's poor air quality is impacting taj mahal.
Taj mahal is getting discoloured due to acid rain. Pollutants such as sulphur oxide and nitrogen oxide released by industries cause air pollution or acid rain. When this polluted air or an acid rain reacts with marble it causes the decolourisation of taj mahal
actually it is due to the toxic gases released by the factories in the vicinity of the taj mahal. these gases react with moisture present in the air and they are responsible for the so called acid rain on taj mahal.....!!! hope you got the answer.
Acid rain caused by air pollution (harmful emissions from nearby industries, vehicular fumes etc).
The Supreme Court of India has taken several measures to address air pollution affecting the Taj Mahal, including directing the government to implement stricter regulations on industries and vehicles in the surrounding areas. It has also mandated the establishment of a special task force to monitor air quality and enforce pollution control measures. Additionally, the Court has supported initiatives to promote clean energy and has urged the adoption of eco-friendly practices to protect the monument's integrity. These steps aim to mitigate pollution's impact on the Taj Mahal and preserve its historical significance.
