In order to get CFW you need a few things a memory stick(I suggest one with at least 1G of memory). A USB cable for your PSP or be able to stick your memory stick in your computer. Lastly you need PSP 1000. Some psp CANNOT get CFW because of their motherboards. Most PSP 2000's can get CFW, but at the time when I got CFW no PSP 3000's could get it but now some can.
