Shiny Pokemon are random, there is no designated place to find them
Just to tell you their is no route 426 in Pokemon Diamond.
if it's a different color then normal
No, you can't tell the difference between shiny type Pokemon and non shiny types. You just have to rely on hope, or a trainer who didn't use the Action Replay on there version of the game. I was browsing it and i saw a shiny shamen!
it will be a different colour from usual and when you first go into battle there will be a ring of sparkles around it. Also, you can check by going to the Pokemon you want to check to see if its shiny and go to its summary. If there is a little red star next to the Pokemon, then it is shiny.
in pearl, diamond & platnium, know your pokemons and identify the color change,or look at the pokemon's personal file, and see if there's a mini star.
