Geikie Gorge is found in Western Austtalia. It is in the Kimberley region, in the north of the state.

The Victoria Falls has resulted from the Zambezi River cut weaker sandstone filled joints of basaltic rocks. Over the past 100 000 years the Victoria Falls have been moving upstream as the river continued to erode the sandstone. This has resulted in Batoka Gorge dowstream of the Victoria Falls.
