The Berlin Wall started when Germany was divided up into 4 section 1 for the U.S 1 for the USSR 1 for France and 1 for Britain then after that the people in east Berlin were trying to escape communism by fleeing into the western side of Germany the communist were angry and decided to built a wall stopping all from crossing the boarder.
