Below the age of 6, you can send your child to a private nursery or creche but it's not a legal requirement.
Once the child is 6 they enter Foundation 1.
After one school year they enter Foundation 2, otherwise known as Reception.
Then they start primary school which consists of year 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
After Year 6, The child goes to secondary school which consists of year 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11. In year 10 the teen starts sudying for their GCSE's. (General Cirtificate of Secondary Education) Which last until year 11.
After year 11 they go to Sixth Form which consists of year 12 and 13. During these years u study for A levels. After this you can either go to university or work
