The story of Moses and pharaoh . Shows that God was more powerful then the Egyptian gods.
Ramses II
Tutankhamun, an ancient Egyptian pharaoh who ruled during the eighteenth dynasty, is more commonly known as Tutankhamen or (more fondly) "King Tut." He is most known for being a boy pharaoh and also for shifting Egyptian religion towards a monotheism revolving around worship of the sun god Ra.
The Pharaoh was the Egyptian version of a king; which was actually looked on as being greater than a king, more like a godlike figure.
Pharaohs ruled over ancient Egypt. they ruled, made laws, and basicly dominated over the Egyptian population. they were sort of like presidents today, but had much more power in that they can make laws or ban something without anyones consult. So, they were like an emperor. The Egyptian population also could not vote for a pharaoh, because the future pharaoh would be the son of the current pharaoh.
Ramses II was the longest Ruling Pharaoh!!! He built more temples, monuments than any other Egyptian Pharaoh.
It paid more to the pharaoh during that period of time. ;)
