The Indus Valley Civilization is also known as the Harappan civilization. Both are rather misnomers, as several other river systems were incorporated into this culture and Harappa was merely the first city of this culture to be discovered. I've also seen it referred to as the Indus-Sarasvati Civilization, the Sarasvati being another major river system.
