Big foot's foot print was found in 1958 in Bluffy Creek Valley in Humboldt which is in California County by a construction worker named Jerry Crew. So big foot was first seen in California.
The one on October 20, 1967, by Roger Patterson and Robert Gimlin. They got a video of one walking.
We don't know if Nessie was really "seen," as real existence has not been proven. The last claimed sighting was in 2007.

to correct further answer the last answer Bigfoot actually would wear a size 14 shoes in mens. that isn't that large of a foot. i wear a size 12. in 1811 when the first sighting occurred size 14 was relatively large. one of the first sighting of Bigfoot the people took a foot casting and at that time because of the way it was cast the foo appeared larger than it was. about 4 inches larger making it a size 1 shoes. which is big.
